Morkov-cha Koryo-saram carrot salad

Created by Koryo-saram people of Central Asia (ethnic Koreans from the Russian Far East, resettled by Stalin in the 1930s) to substitute for traditional Korean banchan. Popular throughout the ex-Soviet Union and diaspora, and has now been re-introduced back into Korea as 'carrot kimchi'
